Wine Cellar Contractors
Wine Cellar Contractor for Interior Designers & Architects
Private Label works with you as a specialized wine cellar design partner, helping you interpret the aesthetic direction, identify appropriate racking and materials, develop CAD renderings, and coordinate the cellar’s requirements with the construction team.
As experienced wine cellar contractors, we help you bridge the gap between the design you want to create and the infrastructure needed to make it work.

From concept to project direction
From Inspiration to Buildable Design

01
Your Inspiration
Share an image, mood board, sketch, or concept you love.

02
Our Interpretation
We interpret the look, identify racking direction, and review what is practical within your space.

03
CAD Direction
You get a CAD design the team can review and refine around the actual project.

04
Coordinated Direction
The designer, architect, contractor, and cellar team can work from a clearer shared plan.

Design + technical translation
Design Vision + Cellar Expertise
A wine cellar has two sides that need to come together.
The design side
The architecture, materials, proportions, lighting, and details that make the cellar feel intentional within the larger space.
The infrastructure side
The insulation, vapor protection, cooling, airflow, and construction requirements that keep the cellar performing properly for years.
Racking, materials, glass + cooling
Details Behind The Design
You do not need to identify every product or system before you bring us into the conversation. We help interpret the details behind the look you are trying to achieve.

RACKING
We help identify the type of racking and determine how that direction could translate into your project.

Glass
Glass can be considered as part of the overall cellar concept, especially when the cellar is designed as a visible feature.

Materials + Finishes
We work with you as cellar details are coordinated with the larger material story of the home.

Cooling
As the design develops, we help you understand where cooling requirements begin to affect the room and the construction team.

Developing the CAD Direction
Once we understand the direction you are trying to achieve, we can translate it into an actual CAD rendering for the project.
That gives you, the architect, the contractor, and the wine cellar team something concrete to review together. The design can then be refined around the real conditions of the space.
This is where the conversation moves from “we want the cellar to look like this” to “this is how we can make that look work here.”
Working from the same plan
Coordination With the Construction Team

Designer / Architect
You define the design intent, aesthetics, and how the wine cellar fits within the architecture and interiors.

Private Label
We interpret the concept, develop CAD direction, identify racking direction, and coordinate cellar-specific requirements.

GC / Project Manager
The contractor manages the larger construction environment and executes the site work required within the larger project.
Our Role
We focus on the wine cellar. We collaborate with you on the design decisions and communicate the relevant cellar requirements to the construction team. The goal is clearer coordination between the aesthetic direction and what has to happen in the field.

Project-Dependent Considerations
Depending on the project, there may be demolition, reframing, soffit construction, glass work, or other structural requirements handled by the project’s GC or another trade.
The exact division of responsibilities should be confirmed after Alex reviews the project.
Designed to belong
Designed to Belong in the Home
The wine cellar should make sense with the architecture, material palette, sightlines, surrounding rooms, and overall design language of the home.
